Install and activate
Run the installer; it installs for your Windows account without needing administrator rights. Then paste your licence key. Each key works on two PCs at once.
What you need
A PC running Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, and an internet connection to activate. After that, WinDeck works offline for up to 30 days between licence checks.
If Windows warns you
WinDeck’s installer isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” with an unknown publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway. On PCs with Smart App Control turned on, Windows blocks unsigned apps; the FAQ explains your options.
Moving to a new PC, or removing WinDeck
To use your key on a different PC, open Settings on the old one and choose Deactivate this PC. Uninstalling WinDeck also frees that PC when it is online, and deletes all of WinDeck’s data from it, so save a backup first in Settings → Backup. You can restore the backup on your new PC. Updating WinDeck never deletes anything.
